If this statement does not make sense to you, Stop what you are doing and take your car to a Tuner. The back of the unit will need to be tapped into a Vacuum line so that the boost controller knows what boost level it is at. The Solenoid has three ports: COM, NO, NC. Two of the three ports will be used.
If your Turbo is controlled by an Actuator, you will be using the ports: COM & NO. The COM will lead to the Actuator. The NO will lead to a Vacuum Source. The last port not being used is the NC, this port needs to be open for ventilation.
Remove any plugs in the NC port. If your Turbo is controlled by a Wastegate, you will be using the ports: COM & NC.
2 ¥ ˜ Never tune the Profec B-spec II on public highway. This may be ˜ dangerous to you as well as others on the road. ¥˜ When tuning and operating the vehicle in a garage, be sure that the ˜ garage is equipped with a proper ventilation system. ¥˜ After installation and tuning, be sure to clean up everything that.
The COM will lead to the top of the Wastegate. The NC will lead to a Vacuum Source. The last port not being used is the NO, this port needs to be open for ventilation. Remove any plugs in the NO port. Your Wastegate will have a side port that needs to be tapped into a Vacuum line as well. If your Turbo is controlled by an Actuator and is a Twin Turbo setup, you will be using the ports: COM & NO.
The COM will lead to both of the Actuators using a 'T' Fitting. The NO will lead to a Vacuum Source. The last port not being used is the NC, this port needs to be open for ventilation. Remove any plugs in the NC port.
If your Turbo is controlled by a Wastegate and is a Twin Turbo setup, you will be using the ports: COM & NC. The COM will lead to the tops of both Wastegates using a 'T' Fitting. The NC will lead to a Vacuum Source. The last port not being used is the NO, this port needs to be open for ventilation.

Remove any plugs in the NO port. Your Wastegates will have a side port that needs to be tapped into a Vacuum line as well, the use of a 'T' Fitting is acceptable as well. PROGRAMMING Our recommendation is to set your settings to factory spec (out of the box). Adjust the Gain% to control boost consistency. When Boost Creep (consistent rise in psi after your desired boost) occurs, lower the Gain. When Boost Fall Off (consistent drop in psi consistent rise in psi after your desired boost) occurs, raise the Gain.
If your Gain range is 5-30%, start off at 10%. If your Gain range is 0-100%, start off at 30%.
Decide on what boost level (psi) you want to achieve (this controls how fast the turbo will build boost). Adjust your Set Gain or Start Boost (depending on what boost controller you have) to 1.5 - 2 psi before the desired boost (for example, if you want to achieve 10 psi, then the adjust your Set Gain or Start Boost to 8 or 8.5psi). The closer you are to your desired boost will result in faster spool up, too close, and you will experience Boost Spike. Adjust your Set% to get you to your desired boost Level (this controls your Boost). This controls the duty rate of the Actuator/ Wastegate which controls the boost level.
Raise the percentage to raise boost, lower percentage to lower boost. This will require multiple trial and error tests. You might have to readjust or fine-tune SetGain and Gain. Set Warning to desired boost level. Limiter will activate when Warning Setting is reached. This will limit/ subtract the percentage from the Set%. Adjust the Limiter to desired%.
Hey whats up yall? I just bought a new greddy profec b spec II boost controller, but i kinda need some directions on how to install it. I got the little manual but i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get detailed instructions. Maybe a website or something. Also i was wondering if anyone knows how well th xs power turbo kits work. I also have an 02 is300 that i want to turbo and i was looking at thos xs power kits but im unfamiliar with them. Does anyone own this kit?
Its the t61 t4 turbo kit. Rated at 4 hundred something hp on pump gas and 555 hp on race gas. Thanks guillermo.
