![Batman Arkham Origins Multiplayer Error 3 Fix Batman Arkham Origins Multiplayer Error 3 Fix](https://cdn1.techdiscussion.in/Batman-Arkham-Origins-Troubleshooting-Guide.jpg)
I'm having trouble with Arkham Origins on PC. Just picked it up this morning on Steam. I got into the game the first time without issues. I changed my graphics settings (because the game defaulted to windowed 1280x720 resolution O.o). I run at 1920x1200 so I changed my res to that and set it to fullscreen, turned off vsync (never been a fan), and turned on physx.
I had to restart the game because of the physx being turned on and when I did, my game is crashing as soon as the 'Search for downloadable content' message goes away, where you pick what save you want to use. I get and a crash to the desktop.
And then I have to end the application from task manager in order to get it to unload out of memory and allow me to start it up again. I had thought to check for a config file to turn off physx. I found the xml file in my documents under WB Games - Batman AO and changed the physx value from true to false in notepad and it still crashes. Am I just stuck hoping for a patch soon? Has anyone else had this issue? I've searched a few times and I get a bunch of Arkham CITY issues that sound similar but nothing for Origins yet. Then again it did just release.
Might just try a backup and reinstall here. TL;DR Batman Arkham Origins crashes to desktop with a 'Fatal Error Ozzy, etc' message ever since I changed my graphics settings. EDIT: Basic system specs if they help. i7 940 2.93 GHz. Geforce 470GTX. 6GB DDR3.
Plenty of HDD space. Windows 8.1 EDIT 2: Backed up, deleted the folder with the config file and all content via steam. It started in windowed mode again and as soon as I changed to fullscreen it crashed: EDIT 3: I'm playing! It was still crashing on me for whatever reason and I decided I'd see if the multiplayer worked. It did and when I went back to the single player on a whim, it ended up working! Seems something with a Call of Duty game worked like that with getting map packs or something to recognize in game.
So to anyone else having the issue, try starting the Online component! I got mine up and running and haven't had issues since. Occasionally the graphics settings like to reset, resulting in having to set it for the right resolution and fullscreen when I first launch but other than that I haven't had any more problems. Up until the final Bane fight. I'll load the game and I'll see a cutscene that I've seen every time and sometimes I'll end up fighting Bane and sometimes I'll end up bumped ahead to after the fight in the stealthy spot (the Mr.
Freeze fight) but Bane won't spawn. I haven't been able to successfully finish the game yet.
And I've attempted so many times now:.
